THE EXECUTIVE BOARD



president: LAURA SPEEGLE

Laura moved to Hartselle, Alabama in 2013 with her husband, Kirk and her two children quickly followed. Laura has worked for Regions bank for over twenty years and is a graduate from Troy University. She is honored to serve as 2023-2024 president and hopes to be a catalyst for community change by empowering women who are passionately focused on the health, education, and welfare of women and children.  What she loves most about Junior League is volunteering and meeting new friends.



PRESIDENT-ELECT: LEAH FERGUSON

Leah Ferguson joined JLMC in August 2020. She lives in Hartselle, Alabama, with her fiance Ben and their two children, Zane & Kallan. Leah is a Realtor with Legend Realty in Huntsville. She has been a Real Estate Agent serving North Alabama for the last ten years. She is passionate about real estate investing and owns 3 Airbnb. She loves spending time with her big extended family, riding her Peloton, traveling, and giving belly rubs to her two Labradors, Boone & Maggie. Leah’s favorite thing about Junior League has been meeting new friends while serving the community. Leah serves on the board for PACT (Parents and Children Together).



Community Vice President: Magan garner

Magan is a Hokes Bluff, AL native who currently lives in Priceville. She is a 2010 graduate of Auburn University, and has made a career selling waste and recycling services to the Tennessee Valley for Republic Services for the past 7 years. She is married to Nick, and they have two daughters, Madison and Avery. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and cooking. Her favorite thing about Junior League has been meeting new friends and giving back to her community.



FUND DEVELOPMENT: AMANDA HALL

Amanda is originally from Tuscaloosa, but has lived in Hartselle for the last 12 years.  She studied Political Science & History at The University of North Alabama and now works  in the Morgan County Court system. Amanda joined Junior League in Fall 2019 and has enjoyed holding positions as co-chair and chair of multiple fundraisers. Her favorite thing about Junior League is that all the funds we raise directly impact people right here in our community.


TREASURER: BETH EASTERLING

Beth is a Decatur native who joined the Junior League in the Fall of 2021. She studied Accounting at Mississippi State University and now works as an Audit Supervisor at Warren Averett. In her free time she enjoys hiking and finding treasurers at thrift stores. Beth’s favorite thing about Junior League is the impact that JLMC has on the Morgan County community. 


CORRESPONDENCE SECRETARY: KELSEY HENSLEY

Kelsey is a Lawrence County native and has lived in Hartselle for the last 15 years with her husband Nick and their children, Jackson and Emerson. Kelsey is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has served on staff at Cornerstone Church since 2012 and works for CRL-FormFox as an Instructional Designer. She loves to spend her weekends RVing to cool places, watching plays, enjoying ballet, and photographing beautiful spaces. Her favorite thing about Junior League is meeting amazing new people and helping to make a difference throughout our community. Kelsey serves on the PACT Board.


Recording Secretary: ANN ROBERTS

Ann is a Decatur native of 16 years. She is married to Eddie, and they have two daughters in college Emily and Megan. She has made a career in pharmaceutical sales. In her spare time she enjoys college football, and going to dinner and movies with friends. What she loves most about Junior League is meeting new friends and helping others, seeing the outcomes of supplying financial needs to her local community.
